Hoylake Veterinary Surgery was started in October 2003 by Rob and Della McNulty in a small shop front next to Sainsburys in Hoylake. Our Practice grew rapidly, and our original facilities became too small prompting the move to our current much larger premises.

Hoylake Vets is situated in a house called Geneva which was built in 1905 by Mr Bertram who was headmaster of the local Minto House School. The premises retains many of its original features in windows and columns and offers a large car park.

The Surgery currently offers Digital X-Ray, ECG, Endoscopy, In House Bloods Machines and Sedivue Urinalysis and Microscopy, Ultrasound and kennelling for patients as well as a highly trained team including an anaesthetist, small animal surgeons and qualified Registered Veterinary Nurses. We are also a training practice for Vet Nurses. We offer our clients and their pets a rapid diagnosis and treatment service when they need us most as well as day to day assistance.

Due to diverse interests among the Veterinary Team we are currently at liberty to offer treatment for Small Animals and Exotics which includes Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Lizards, Snakes, Turtles, Chinchillas, Ferrets, Birds and Amphibians.

We are a close knit team who like to play together. We have Ghost Hunting Trips, we go climbing over in Liverpool at Awesome Walls and the Climbing Hangar as well as meals out and Full Fat Friday once a month. If you like it we will have a go.

If you are a Vet, Vet Nurse, Client Care Assistant or Vet/Vet Nurse Student reach out to us and find out what we as a Proud Independent Practice can offer.
