Luna met our lovely physio Claire burgess on Wednesday to start her rehabilitation. To say she was a wriggly whatshername is an understatement but she became impeccably behaved for food. Claire assessed her and although Luna does a good impression of bearing weight on her injured leg it is not as good as we had assumed. She is not in any pain with the leg which was reassuring. Claire has given us a lot of exercises to do with her to encourage putting weight through her leg. All we need to do now is keep up the good work and we will see Claire in two weeks to see how we are improving.

Luna is not very happy this morning as she didn’t have any breakfast because she is having her x-rays today. I’ can’t believe a month has passed since her operation. She was very wriggly for her anesthetic but once she was asleep it all went smoothly. We took two views of her leg and emailed them over to Ian at Rutland house to see how he thinks she is progressing.
She came around very well from her anesthetic and was glad to have some food when she came around. She had been moping all morning because she was so hungry. After her belated breakfast she got down to the serious business of relaxing.
