Luna has been improving all the time since our last blog entry. As you can see from this picture she is settling well with her big sisters Tonks the Rottie and Nancy the chocolate Labrador. Her wound had almost healed except for a tiny bit at the bottom(
picture) . It doesn’t seem to be bothering her as much now and we are treating her with antibiotics and using the cone of shame still as well as a tee shirt at night when she is on her own. Rob took the last of her stitches out yesterday.
She has a 10 minute walk before bed every evening although we have found that she is very unimpressed by rain at the moment.
The next stage is for her to have an X-ray next week to send to Ian Barclay at Rutland House for him to review and advise where we go now as regards to further treatment and exercise.
Luna also has an appointment with Claire Burgess the Veterinary Physiotherapist we are working with from next Wednesday in the practice. If you have any exercise, weight, post operative issue with any of your pets please do not hesitate to contact us or look at Claire’s info on our website.
We will update you on Luna’s progress after her next X-ray and her 1st Physio session.
